Session 3: Creating Visual Archetypes Through Mixed Media
No Skills Required
On-Campus Workshops
June 16 – June 20, 2025
Creating Visual Archetypes Through Mixed Media
Through non-linear and improv approaches, emphasis will be on artistic growth. Daily prompts will assist in exploring creativity, push pieces past comfort zones, change directions – to articulate narratives. Shared techniques will include creative strategies in starting mixed media pieces, to prepare papers, to recycle, use found objects, and use the ephemeral. While creating several luscious pieces, there will be plenty of guidance and informal critiques.
An estimated materials fee will be provided at a later date. The materials fee does not include materials that may need to be purchased by the student prior to the workshop.
